THE SWIPES from Frankfurt/Mannheim have been playing melodic British and American-style punk rock since 2007, with critical English lyrics and clear influences from well-known genre greats such as Leatherface, Snuff, Ramones, Hot Water Music and China Drum. Fat walls of guitars form the foundation for seductive melodies, bass and drums pulsate dynamically and drive the Swipes‘ rage relentlessly forward.

Beïnvloed door bands als Screeching Weasel, Good Riddance, Pulley, Heideroosjes, Face to Face, Blink 182, The Offspring, en NOFX, brengt Oskoed Slotters aanstekelijke skate-punk.

Dit uit Moordrecht afkomstige trio is ontstaan in de zomer van 2010. In de zes jaar tijd dat Oskoed Slotters nu bezig is, hebben ze een flink repertoire opgebouwd en heel veel shows gespeeld. Oskoed Slotters brengt met veel enthousiasme een zeer energieke show. In oktober 2016 hebben ze hun debuut album uitgebracht met de naam 'Ofcourse i'd like to save the world, just not today'.
