Chris Haskett (US)

Though mainly known as the guitarist in the Rollins Band, over the past three decades he has worked and played with a widely diverse group of musicians. These include: David Bowie, Iggy Pop, Jah Wobble, Rowland S. Howard, Elliott Sharp, Lloyd Cole, Reeves Gabrels, Charles Gayle, Foetus, The Cassandra Complex, Pigface, Steven Brown Band and TM Stevens (to name a few). Today Chris is mainly focused on his own instrumental guitar projects both acoustic and electric.

Original guitarist in the Rollins Band, Chris Haskett has also worked with Jah Wobble, Lloyd Cole, Utah Saints, Foetus, Cassandra Complex, Pigface, Reeves Gabrels, Elliott Sharp and David Bowie.
Chris Haskett has been a professional guitarist for over 25 years. Beginning in the richly creative environment of Washington DC in the late 1970s where he was a member of seminal no-wave/hardcore band The Enzymes through to the 80s and 90s as the guitarist in the mighty Rollins Band, Chris Haskett has always been uncompromising and fearless as both a player and a composer. His ensemble work as well as his solo efforts have earned the respect and friendship of many peers such as Elliott Sharp, Vernon Reid , Reeves Gabrels and Mike Kenneally and led to side stints alongside (among others) Foetus and David Bowie .
In addition to his solo albums and recordings with the Rollins Band, Haskett has guested on other artists' releases, including Pigface's Fook, Tool's Undertow, and David Bowie's Hours, among others. Additionally, Haskett is an avid photographer, whose images have graced both Henry Rollins' spoken word CD's (Big Ugly Mouth, Sweatbox, and Human Butt), as well as books from Rollins' 2.13.61 publishing company.
